‘North Woods Law’ wardens to appear at Maine Wildlife Park Saturday

If you’ve been hoping to have a chance to say “Hi” to the game wardens you’ve been watching on TV for the past couple of years, you’ll get that chance on Saturday.

All you’ve got to do is head to the Maine Wildlife Park in Gray, where the stars of the Animal Planet show “North Woods Law” will meet the public from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., and from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.

The wardens expected to be on hand: Troy Thibodeau, Jonathan Parker, Kris MacCabe (and his K9, Morgan), Eric Blanchard, Rick LaFlamme, Ethan Buuck and Alan Curtis (with his new K9 partner). In addition, Warden Mike Joy will be manning the Maine Warden Service dive trailer, and Warden Pete Herring will show visitors the agency’s airboat.

There is no extra fee to meet the wardens, but regular Maine Wildlife Park admission will be charged.

Special items will be given to kids, and the wardens will be happy to pose for photos and sign autographs.
