Mooseless in Millinocket, Part 2: The video

Earlier this week, I had the chance to take a great trip into the woods, and to show my new boss, Sarah Walker Caron, some of the great places that we call home.

Unfortunately, I also made a guarantee that I was not able to fulfill: I told her that I could introduce her, personally, to her first Maine moose. As you may have already read in Thursday’s blog post, that’s not exactly how things worked out.

Fortunately, Sarah has a great sense of humor, and I had my GoPro camera rolling for much of the day.

We drove out the Golden Road out of Millinocket, stopped at several promising spots, and even saw a moose track or five … but no moose.

Here’s the video we produced … enjoy … and feel free to chuckle at our expense.

We certainly did.
