Maine residents to get $29 lift tickets at Sugarloaf or Sunday River on Maine Ski Day

If you’re an avid skier and you’re looking for a bargain, you may want to head to either of the state’s biggest resorts on Sunday to celebrate Maine Ski Day.

Thanks to sponsorship help from The Bank of Maine, both Sugarloaf in Carrabassett Valley and Sunday River in Newry will offer deeply reduced prices on lift tickets, rentals and lessons.

The discounts are available to any Mainers who show proof of residency.

So what kind of deal will you get?

A great one. Lift tickets will go for just $29. Ski or snowboard rentals will cost you $20. Or you could opt for a learn-to-ski or snowboard package for only $39.

“At The Bank of Maine we know the value of a healthy and active lifestyle,” John Everets, chairman and CEO for The Bank of Maine said in a news release. “Skiing is a great way to stay active and bring the family together in the wintertime. As Maine banks, we are delighted to be able to partner with two great ski mountains to kick off the ski season.”
